Princes specialises in sourcing ingredients from around the world. In fact, we deal with over 150 suppliers across 40 countries every day.
We also operate ten state of the art manufacturing sites including a dedicated tuna processing business in Mauritius. Our manufacturing strength means that we can produce high quality products on time and on budget for our customers.
The Belvedere site is operated by Edible Oils Limited. A joint venture between Princes Limited and Pura Foods Limited.
It is recognised as one of the UK’s leading olive oil production facilities. All our Napolina and own label olive oils are blended and bottled here.
Bradford is home to our largest UK soft drinks manufacturing site. It mainly produces own label carbonates and fruit squash for the Jucee brand and many of our customers.
Our Cardiff site produces one litre pure fruit juice for the Princes brand and own label customers. We recently invested in a new high-speed line which has increased efficiency to more than 30,000 cartons an hour.
Chichester is home to our largest food production site in the UK. It has state-of-the-art manufacturing technology producing a wide range of products from microwaveable ready meals to cooking sauces and sandwich fillings.
Our Stretton Hills site is set in the heart of rural Shropshire. We have four accredited natural mineral water sources which supply water for the Stretton Hills brand and own label products.
Set in beautiful Cumbrian countryside surrounded by rolling hills, our Eden Valley site draws natural mineral water from one of the largest groundwater aquifers in Europe. The purity of our ground waters is protected because the site is set in an EU Special Area for Conservation.
The Erith site is operated by Edible Oils Limited. A joint venture between Princes Limited and Pura Foods Limited.
Set on the south bank of the River Thames, just 8 miles east of the Millennium Dome, our Erith site forms the hub of our branded cooking oil production. Sited immediately adjacent to one of the largest seed oil crushing and refining establishments in the UK, Erith bottling facility produces the brand leading Crisp ’n Dry original and Crisp ’n Dry Max products. The site also produces a range of own label Cooking oils, consisting of mainly rapeseed or sunflower oil, for most of the UK retail trade.
Our Glasgow site has one line that produces carbonates in cans.
Our Manchester site produces a variety of chilled and ambient fruit juices. We have invested over £25 million in our Manchester site to make it one of the most technologically advanced in Europe and work is underway to add a new state-of-the-art laboratory to the factory.
Princes Tuna Mauritius is one of the most technologically advanced tuna processing facilities in the World.
PTM has also been recognised for its social responsibility and we work closely with the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission, which is striving to help maintain the sustainability of the region's tuna stocks.
