Our Italian Style Pasta Bake recipe uses Princes Tuna Chunks in Spring Water and takes just 40 minutes to be ready.
Italian Style Tuna Pasta Bake

Ingredients:
2 x145g Princes Tuna Chunks in Spring Water, Drained
1 x Red Onion, Diced
1 x Red Pepper, Diced
1 x Tablespoon of Olive Oil
2 x Tablespoons of Garlic Puree
500g Pasta (Penne or Fusili are ideal)
2 x Chans of Chopped Tomatoes
1 x Carton of Pasata
100g Tomato Puree
2 x Teaspoons Dry Mixed Herbs
2 x Teaspoons Sugar
Salt & Pepper to Taste
125g Mozzarella
50g Grated Hard Cheese
Cooking Instructions:
- Cook the pasta in boiling water until al dente, cool and leave to one side. Preheat oven to 160 c fan.
- In a large saucepan heat the oil over a medium/high heat and fry the onion & pepper until soft.
- Add the garlic puree and herbs, cook for a further two minutes.
- Add in the chopped tomatoes, passata, tomato puree, stock pot, salt, pepper, sugar & tuna. Bring to a gentle simmer for two minutes.
- Take the pan off the heat and gently fold in the pasta, pour the pasta and sauce into a large oven proof dish.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella and (optional) parmesan over the top of the pasta and cook until the bake is hot, the cheese has melted and started to brown. Remove from the oven and serve.
